lighting problem solved

I have a 2010 23'FB While on a two month trip across the country the ceiling lights, outside lights, thermostat-power and fantastic fan's stopped working.
These all work on the 12v system. After checking fuses and splices that were either soldered and taped, behind and under the closet to the right of the electrical panel and taking down one of the fan that I was fooling with just before it happened. I found out that I was dealing with circuit one and two,a yellow and a purple wire. I called Airstream customer support found out that there are plug in plastic connectors similar to what is in your car that are called Packard connectors and that they are not always located in the same location. My connector for these two circuits were located under the kitchen sink at the floor to the left of the furnace. The way I gained access to this area without pulling out the furnace was to make a cut on the top left side of the trim piece that raps around the furnace this enabled me to take off half of the trim piece to gain access to the Packard connector which was completely disconnected. I also found another Packard connector behind the cutout under the bathroom sink, but that was okay.
Hopefully sharing what I have learned will help someone.

Hi Lee, greetings from Central Kentucky and welcome to the forum. I don't have need for this but maybe someone else will. In any event, glad to have you here. There is always a need for someone else's experience.

Airstream forum

There is a wealth of information on this forum and I hope my experience and what I have learned while trouble shooting this problem will help someone. I just got back to California we have been traveling for two months and on are way back from Nova Scotia my wife and I passed through your area, very pretty country! It is nice to have the lights, heat and air again, but we made do on this trip with a small space space heater that we bought in Canada at a Canadian Tire store. If your ever in Canada check out the store they have almost anything you can think of.
