Light switches in a '73 Sovereign

What do the light switches by the door in a 73 Sovereign do please? Mine seemingly don't do anything.

Thank you,
Lucy.

Hi Lucy, I have a 1972 Sovereign. It has two switches, one on either side of the window that is forward of the entry door. The switch closest to the door turns on the light on the outside of the trailer over the door. The other switch works the scare light. The 4 inch round light with the clear lens on the outside of the trailer.

How about a '73 Overlander for comparison, too

Our '73 Overlander has two of the switches right by the door and another one further down the wall toward the front of the camper. The closest one to the door operates the exterior light over the door just like Airdog's. The one next to that operates the lights over the sink in the galley. The third one, closer to the front of the camper, operates the "scare light" on the outside of the camper. Got a multi-meter? Pretty easy to test 'em with one of those. Expect that there may be corrosion on the fixtures and possibly even at the switch itself. Good afternoon project for you all.

Jim

Our '74 Sov's switches work just like Gomer's. Uh, Jim's.
