LED Taillights for 1955 Flying Cloud

Does anyone have a proven (ie. actually test fitted and use) LED tail light markers that will fit within a Bargman No 9 bezel? I would really like to keep the original style tail light bezels, but add modern LED multi-diode lights.

I have been going through e-trailer.com, and a number of tractor and trailer supply places looking for a model that will work, but tough to tell one that will integrate cleanly with the old bezels.

I am expecting that I will need to clean up or trim the inside of the rings to make them fit properly, but obviously I would like to minimize the amount of that needed.

I replaced all bulb with led on a 57 overlander. On the tail lites I replaced the sockets also. Purchased all the sockets from vts. Bulbs came from Amazon. Same no. 9 fixture. Worked like a charm.

On our 1966 Safari, a previous owner used a diode board for the Bargman #99 as shown. I am sorry, but there are no markings on the board to indicate supplier. I don't know if this was a DIY adaptation or not, but it looks like it could easily fit within the Bargman #9 can. Note there is a plastic baseplate through which the wires run to protect the back of the board. We are a month away from working on this, but our plans are the same. Let me know if you have any success and I'll do the same.

Work with the tech guys at GROTE or TRUCKLITE or PETERSON or other supplier of DOT/FHMVSS lighting.
