LED Tail Light Upgrade

Howdy! I have a 28’ Safari with the three taillights in a line on either rear corner. They are the square conventional bulb 9074-9075-9074 lights. For many reasons I would like to replace the entire light assembly’s with an LED version. If this requires a new bezel, then I’ll do what it takes. Any leads on a “plug and play” replacement for all-in-one lights and bezels would be great 👍 I have pictures of the light setup, but can’t figure how to upload.

I think these are the ones I got for our '05. Make sure they are the right ones. They work great.

Thanks! These might be the simplest option. Do they stand up on their own or need to be glued in place. Another intriguing option to replacing the whole piece is that my lens covers are loose as the screws and holes are stripped out on most of the holes.

Thanks! Mine are the 4 1/2 by 4 1/2 monarches in the photo. The ones you attached might be too long, but good to know that these worked. I have been looking at some similar options I found since posting.

The Bargeman lights listed in post #3 are too tall. This link to Outofdoorsmart.com has the ones you want. https://odmrv.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=116_118&pro ducts_id=1387&zenid=6dloi1ctlmbk9nv4ul8qfefs10

Link did not work but look at Led Lights then Outside lights and it should be on the first page. The light sets are sold out right now but the single red clusters are available.

Ditto from Robert Cross. I replaced all of mine and they work great. Almost too bright when you are behind the rig.

Why do you want to replace the whole fixture?
I have a 1997 Safari 25’, ALL of the incandescent lamps, inside and outside have been replaced with LED’s.
Much cheaper this way than the cost of one fixture?
All the lamp bulbs can be purchased at your local automotive parts store, I purchased all mine off Amazon. (Bulk) packages.

I have been disappointed with complete fixtures on other uses that I went this way. With the proliferation of CHEAP imported junk, I am still able to purchase replacements, LED or incandescents easily and quickly when or if necessary.

Besides, the trailer would be up to date with improvements BUT, ALL ORIGINAL!
Some people, 20-30 years from now will see the originals and pay a higher price.
My “old” Harley 1985, is original, I am able to get more for it (because it is all original) than what I paid for it including the interest on the loan.

Watch the auto auction’s on TV. Old and original get crazy money.

Keep it original, make small inconspicuous upgrades to improve it, but keep it so that the next? owner is able to put it back too factory original if they wish. Just my opinion and thoughts. Rick

Thanks for the vantage point. We are getting ready to remove the walk around queen bed, closets, and storage in the rear queen to install bunk beds for our two small kids and us. We will keep all original parts in storage, but are making the adjustment we want for the trailer we will likely have for the next 5-10+ years. One of my fears is our prized rig getting rear ended in the traffic we endure in the Virginia Beach area. So the bright & bigger the better. Cheers!
