Led Recessed Lights source

Hi guys,
Just double checking to see how many of you have gone with the newer style of recessed LEDs on our vintage trailers?
Thinking on getting about 12 lights with dimmer, any pics and a source will be really cool.
Thanks in advance👍

We were at the AS dealer yesterday sneaking around and really liked the ones in the 2015 or 2014s wit the dimmer on them.
But noticed 2 things: the 2015 have the ducted AC system vs the 2014 that has the non ducted.
So our question is more towards the "low clearance" that we need for the vintage trailers and the brightness, we want them cool white and high lumens.
I'm sure someone here has done the upgrades....we are looking at LED4RV and the look great by them selves but would love to see them in a vintage trailer...
Anyone out there?

tried the search option and not that many results here
It looks like everyone just got excited with the idea but didn't follow thru...
We can totally understand why...It's a very pricey upgrade..
We are looking at these:
Premium Flu-Mnt 12 Bright White LED Light-Brushed Nickel SKU158 [DRBW] - $31.95 : LEDs 4, Recreational Vehicles
Plus at least 2 dimmers
http://led4rv.com/index.php?main_pag...roducts_id=177
So based on the length of the trailer (31ftr) we should get at least 12 !!!!
Does anyone lives near Fort Knox ? or is that place already empty?
Again, just curious if anyone has new AS recessed lights installed in their Vintage trailer?
New thread it's coming about as soon as we are starting the hands on 72!!!

Hey Veggie! Hope you are well brother! Watching your thread develop- this will be on my upcoming list and Ive wondered same thing. Those take a 2.75" rough opening... looks like I will be hacking up my ceiling too @ $31 bucks a pop!

Hello Mic!
How are you doing? What's going on with your Airstream?
Here things got a kind of crazy! But good crazy. Between the Avion, the Spartan, the other 2 AIrstreams and a lot of work things got out of hands for a little.
Now slowly getting into 1 project at the time and the AIrstreams are next in line!
I totally agree with you and the pricey upgrades! Between the white roof coating, the AC, 3 fantastic fans and lights @ 31 per pop + some dimmers it will be over $2500 roof and ceiling 😳
Oh well, but we love our AIrstreams don't we?

Slooooowwww going here Chased leaks FOREVER after landing the shell back on. Polishing around everything I disassemble, before going back together is major time consuming too. Roof is all polished, with new vents and AC. LOTS of seams drilled out and reassembled with sealant. All new LED's, painted emblems....

Trying to get the side wraps and rub rail back on before rainy season starts June 1, then I'll pretty much be done with the outside and can move inside.

Not alot of time with the 3 little rugrats- so trying not to put too many deadlines... except for the ever lurking "unfinished" project....

Stop by when your in the area!

Does anyone has any idea of the lumens or the brightness on these?

I really like the frosted look of the glass and the cool white, but not sure about the brightness. Asked the seller but no replies so far.

Hope anyone here is familiar with them.

AWakening this thread. Has anyone looked at LEDs recently?

All,

Big time newby. I just landed my first AS 345 1985 MH. It needs a little TLC and I am looking at drop in replacement LEDs for all existing lighting.

Has anyone looked at the falling prices of LEDs recently?
Even Florescent bulbs, where you do not even have to cut out the balast, are getting affordable lately.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
