LED for Exterior Patio Light

I'm considering replacing the bulb in our exterior patio light on my 2004 Classic with an LED array that the Airstream store has. I see multiple arrays for sale. Here is one.
https://store.airstream.com/product_...roducts_id=423 (36 LED's)

Here is another.
https://store.airstream.com/product_...roducts_id=506 (24 LED's)

Has any one tried either of these? Obviously they would have to fit behind the lens which I need to replace since the original is partially melted due to the high heat from the 1156 bulb.

I used the pad from LEDs 4, Recreational Vehicles on my bambi and it works great. Plenty of light. I used the bright white because I like the look a little better on the outside.

Thumbs up

Replaced both the porch and step light with 4RV bright white LED's,
porch comes with new lens that needed a bit of trimming top edge, both give good amount of light.
I discovered a little moisture inside the porch fixture so I sealed the new lens in, LED should last a long time, plus I have OEM if needed.

Worthwhile upgrade, prompt service.

This is interesting since you both recommended the same product. What I didn't expect was the warning about the heat that these generate. I would have expected them to run cooler. The 36 led that Airstream is selling is supposed to run cooler than the 1156 bulb that originally is used.

I used the recommended replacement from the Airstream store last year when at Alumapalooza I.

I can show it to you this weekend at Moraine View.

I did the patio light with a led array from airstream. great light. that clear focused lens and the led pad are a good combo. I used some of them inside and they are not as bright as I would like when on batteries. okay on power.

Ditto ... And we got the one with the new lens attached because the original plastic lens had melted and was "sagging"...the LED produces very little heat. Problem solved.
