Question Interior light lens

The overhead light lens in my 75 Tradewind are badly discolored. (yellow)
Is there a way to bring them back to the original color? I soaked them in a bleach solution overnight and that helped a lot but they are still on the yellow side. I hate to buy new ones as these are in good shape except for the color.
Anyone have the answer? I have learnd so much the last few weeks on this forum, thank you one and all.

Once they've yellowed - I don't think you can "bleach" them back. I just ordered new ones from Vintage Trailer and they look new, nice and clean - and they aren't that expensive.

Got these on ebay; however, I think they are about the same price other places. They are a little hard to install and I had to heat them with a hair dryer to get them to bend to the curve in the ceiling that first time. Not much of a problem. The handle for the vent of course was still yellowed, so I got some white Fusion paint for plastic to fix that. Boy do these make the lights brighter. It was work, but I'm happy I did it. After changing those out, I just had to recover the dark end cap that was cracked. Be careful, once you start upgrading......

Some plastics will yellow in time.

That lens is very cheap.

We sell almost 1000, per year.

You can see them on our web site, if you wish.

Note the contour of the side that goes against the ceiling.

Andy's may fit better the first time and he's got a good price on them right now. I've had mine off a couple of times and not had trouble getting them back on now that they seem molded to the ceiling curve. I think it had a lot to do with the temp being about 20 when I put them in.

I installed a new one on our rear light, and had to wrestle it into submission. The holes were too small for the switch and hold-down (hold-up?), and I had to use a small floor jack and 4x4 of appropriate length to push the thing up high enough to get it to accept the fasteners.
