Installing backup lights and camera

Hi ive recently purchased a gently used 1991 25 ft execcla and im going to install led backup lights and a camera. Im wondering if anyone has any tips or pointers on this? Can I find the reverse wire on the rear of the trailer or do I need to run it from the front? The schematic shows it towards the rear but I have no idea where.

Same issue with our 2005 25 Intnl CCD. Read of another member creatively connecting one to the dump light to manually activate a backup light. This could allow use without needing to be TV connected and in reverse. Looked and bought other LED lamps but didn't like the non-factory look in placement.

Thanks to Amazon, found a sealed waterproof Kalwell brand 22.00. With 9" aluminum sheet 12.00 a few bends extended license plate bracket. Made small access hole below factory LP light hole and below lateral support stud to near rear hatch. Allowed access into the forward side storage courtesy light wiring. Cut in a small rocker switch (recessed/inset to prevent accidental activations) to separately control the BU light or for courtesy. Keeps it safe, fused, clean and on a 24/7 power to use anytime without TV connections. Works looked great and REALLY kicks out the lumens !

Also, must add..... researched our factory wiring schematic. Pulled tail lights to explore (found none) and ultimately calling JC which said backup light and wiring "does not exist to rear ". In the end, think this was a better solution since we would be 1st spotting the back up process and therefore close to the switch.

After some digging I found mine does have backup lights but they weren't working. Ive now got them working, but there not very bright. Also the wiring goes up and over the AS which makes it hard for a low mount camera. Im going to run the wiring through the frame and mount the camera/lights in the rear bumper.

Nice. Guess different models may have and others not. Odd the wiring is missing in some.
