My TV keeps everything up while towing, i am in my fourth year using this setup. (We started with CFs changed to LEDs a couple years ago) It works well for us.

I haven’t really noticed an appreciable power drain from the inverter itself, but that might change when I change to the pure sine wave unit I just bought. If so I will adjust for this or trade the MSW back in.

I threw away the RV rulebook when I built the trailer, some things worked well, some things not so well, but the whole trailer inverter thing I am very happy with.
Hi

How long *you* get on a set of batteries is based on your skill at managing loads. It also helps that you have an inverter that is not the same as what AS has been using for the last decade or two.

Basic math:

Two group 27's will give you about 100AH of useful power.

At 100% efficiency your 1A at 120V is 10A at 12V. I'd bet it's not quite 100%.

That would give you 10 hours with all the lights on.

Same thing with the fridge compressor if it ran all the time.

Net would be 5 hours if all lights were on and the fridge had the door open all the time.

You can indeed say "but nobody would leave all the lights on !!!" or "close the blasted fridge door !!!". To me that is indeed a very logical / rational reply. Based on a lot of "my batteries don't hold up" threads here .... it's not logical to everybody.

The set of batteries on my trailer have been in place for about three years now, the group 29s I had in place before were great, but were ruined when I loaned my trailer and they were allowed to discharge.

In practical use, I can get about 20 hours use on a full charge, about 9 or ten when I run the furnace.

For my use this always works out.

E26/E27 base A19 LED bulbs

Check out the following web site:https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...Specifications

These LED bulbs fit into a standard E26/E27 base and are rated for 12 VDC. You would not have to change anything in the fixture except to wire it to your 12 VDC trailer power source.
