How to connect stop lights and turn signals on a 2017 Toyota Hilux?

Hello everyone, I am Eduardo. I recently acquired a 2018 Airstream RB Sport Bambi, and I am very new to this.

have a problem since my towing truck is a 2017 Toyota Hilux and I had to install all the 7-pin wiring from scratch. However, I realized that the stop lights and turn signals share the same circuit, while my truck has two separate lights for each function. Therefore, only the turn signals work, but I don't have stop lights. Does anyone know how I can install or connect to have both lights working?

You need something called a Tail Light Converter to combine the function of your tow vehicle's turn signal and brake lights. This link will take to one such example on the E-Trailer website. I do not know whether there may be a more economical source in Mexico.

Good luck with your project!
