Found a better source for LED clearance lights!

Hey all!
Actually, I did not find this place for LED clearance lights. "Happycampers" found it and told me about it last night! Take a look at Vehicle Light.com! They are only a couple bucks more than the cheap ones I got from LED-R-US!
Marvin, (aka Happycampers) sent me the pictures attached.
These lights look ten times better than the ones I got from LED-R-US! They also have 16 LED's and two wires instead of the cheap one wire connection!
I just ordered all of my replacements for the new trailer!

I'm thinking as a safety issue I'll be putting 3 of those puppies on the back of the 86 right quick! Geez I hope they're not made you know where.
To me LED heaven would be "Made in U.S.A."

The ones at VEHICLELIGHT in the 13 LED version that they sell has "Made in the USA" right in the description. I hope that the others are as well.
The light from the 16 LED version looks much more uniform than the 13 LED ones. Plus it has the two-wire leads. This way we can all use the same wires without having to worry about pulling a ground from the aluminum.

Grote clearance lamps - USA

I replaced all of mine with Grote clearance lamps - made in USA - had to pay for them but that's just me - I think I paid about $7.00 each at the local auto parts store.
Some day when I get the time I'll post pics of this job.

I had previously replaced a clear hitch bullseye light, the two front amber clearance lights and rear two red with LEDS-R-US. I just placed an order for three more red clearance lights through Vehicle Lights to finish that project.

Vehiclelights.com

Here are the last 3 clearance lights sans the red covers. I noticed at night that they have a slightly deeper ruby red color than those I purchased through LEDS-R-US.

I just took a couple more pictures comparing the two LED companies mentioned previously. The side markers are see-through red moulded plastic with LED circuit board embedded in the plastic and the base was solid. The vehiclelights had a see-through but had a hollow base with solid mounting posts the screws go through. Is it my imagination but does it look like the side markers reflect off the trailer more? Don't get me wrong, I like all the LED's on the trailer. They sure beat what was on there.
