Brake light / Turn signal issue

Hi -

We happily took our 2006 Bambi out camping for the first time since we purchased it, and half way to the campground the right rear brake light and turn signal quit working. The tow vehicle lights all work. Any ideas? This is not the first time we have towed it. We towed it for 4 days just to get it home with no problems....

Thanks - you guys are always a big help!

Vicki

if the parking light still works i's say bad bulb or bad connection. first place to check is the connection from the tow veh and the trailer.

I agree, check the bulb in the RH stop light unit on your trailer...

also, check the connections of the trailer plugs in both the TV and the Trailer...maybe spray a bit of WD40 like stuff in both plugs, then insert and remove them a couple of times to make sure the connections are making contact...

If your tow vehicle has factory tow package wiring, there is a separate 10 amp circuit for left and right trailer lights. If it is not the bulb, it could be this fuse.

Thanks! It was a fuse just like you suggested. I knew this was the place to go!
