Blinded by the light (closet)

We have a 2018 25' Cloud, rear bed. Because I'm not tall, the LED light in the closet is a above eye level and almost counter-useful (is that a word?). It shines so brightly into my eyes, it makes me squint. I opted to cover inside the half of the translucent cover closest to me in aluminum tape.

Now I can see into the closet without the light glaring in my eyes.

It doesn't seem to diminish closet illumination and it's easily removed if I later change my mind

Just the kind of solution I like. Quick & easy.

I must say, I was expecting to see something cheesy. But looks good!

And, if you take the time to carefully remove the cover (assuming it's removable), the aluminum foil tape could go on the inside to make it look deliberate...

I'm going to try this on my rig--the closet light is incandescent at the moment, but it does dump light all over the place instead of just where it is needed...

Sean, "Counter-useful" may not be a word, but it SHOULD be...IMHO.

rmkrum, I now see that the photos are a bit unclear, the foil tape is on the inside, I took another photo that may be a little more clear

Also, if your cover is like this one, here's how to remove it without breakage. Looking at the photo below for reference, squeeze the two tabs indicated by the knife blades. Once these are depressed, the "un-tabbed" side of the cover can lower, which then allows the other two tabs to slip away from the assembly, freeing the cover.

And if you don't have enough light like the top shelf in the 30 Signature closet, get one of these.
