Bad LED Chips?

New to me 2006 Safari 25’ SE. The overhead recessed halogen lights have been replaced with LED chips and pull the batteries down. When we’re on shore power and turn them on, battery monitor shows low battery. Turn off the lights and the battery monitor shows fine. Any ideas?

The LEDs pull less current than the halogens, but they do pull some current.

I have a fancy current and voltage display as part of my aftermarket solar upgrade, so I never look at the battery status display that is included in the tank monitor display on my trailer. So I don't know what is normal for that to display when using things like the ceiling lights.
Does the display show low battery when you run other items like the furnace, water pump, or fans?

By the way, the LED ceiling puck lights that came standard in my 2013 25FB draw 1.7 amps of current on full brightness for the living area, and 0.6 amps for the bedroom. That's less than the range hood halogen lights (3.4) or range hood fan (2.6). The Fantastic fans are 1.6 each, the bathroom fan are 1.5 each. I have since replaced the range hood lights with LEDs.

I’m suspecting that it’s possible that the PO installed one of the LEDs such that it’s grounding to the fixture housing when he bent the chip leads. Nothing else seems to drag the batteries down like those recessed lights.
