Back up trailer light?

We are rewiring our 73 Argosy 24’ with a 7 blade light receptacle. Our TV does not have a position for backup lights. The trailer has a separate backup light wire. Do we need a back up light? Ideas/thoughts. Thanks.

They sure do come in handy when backing into a dark site.
Or lighting the Classic's trunk when breaking camp.
The OEM's were a bit wimpy so were replaced with a bright white led pad.

I also replaced my weak backup bulb with an LED. I didn't need to use the LED pad as shown above. My bulb was a push and turn base. I just walked into an auto supply store and got the LED replacement. Made a big difference. I also switched out the bulbs to backup LEDs on the TV.
