Adding an IR / RF Remote Switch

Does anyone know if it's possible to add a remote switch to the LED lights that come standard these days? It would be fantastic to not have to try to shut off the bedroom light with my big toe at night. I assume it would require replacing the wall toggle switch with one that accommodated a remote.

Something like in the link below, just more of a drop in replacement that didn't require any re-wiring.

e-Bay has lots of things that would work and not be too hard to install. Here is one example:

The little module would just go in the wall with your existing switch. Put it on the LED side of the switch and the remote will control when he switch is on.
