Access license plate light bulb

How do I access the license plate light bulb on a 2001 30' Classic? The plate holder is an insert and is sealed to the body. Before removing the insert I want to make sure the light housing does not open. It is not obvious to me how to open the light housing.

I'm not an AS person, but I peruse the forum sometimes for ideas. See my signature for my rig.

Anyhow, I know AS used Bargman lighting at one time, and if it looks like this, the light has to be removed from the trailer first as the light socket goes in from the back. Find an LED 168 compatible lamp so you don't have to deal with it for a long time to come.

This is a bottom view of the fixture and it fits over a metal plate bracket.

If you gotta remove it, it might be worth installing a new one.

Lumtronics and Kaper both make what looks like perfect clones of the Bargman.

Solved

Solved. The light fixture (not bulb, need to replace the fixture) snaps into a 1 1/4" hole in the top of the license plate insert. I did not want to start prying until I understood how it fit. I saw another airstream with the same fixture which was slightly looser, and it was obvious how it fit. Thanks.
