'70 31 ft Sovereign International (does anyone know what this switch controls?)
Hi
Just purchase a 1970 airstream sovereign international. Dont have power to the lite above the frnt livingroom and the two spot lights behind. I noticed that an electric light switch to right as you come in door was covered. I took off the cover plate and it appears that there was two switchs in here. The one on the right is gone and the one on the left is still there. Does anyone have any idea what this switchs are suppose to control? I have a feeling that one of them was to control over the door light that is also missing. Thank you in advance. I have attached a photo so you know where I'm talking about, Thanks
One was definitely intended for the light above the door. With the International package, your trailer probably also has a "scare light" on the curbside skin within a few feet of the door. Those need switches too, so perhaps that accounts for the other switch?

Howdy and welcome to Airforums.com! This is THE place to get all your questions answered.
Two suggestions:
First thing to do is to get your hands on an Owner's Manual. A Lot of your questions will be answered in there. Even a '71 or '72 manual would be very much the same.
Might help to start a thread in say, the rebuild sub-forum, or the sub-forum for your model and year, and group all your questions together.
All the best to you!
Oh, and how about some more photos? We are wild about pictures.
