I'm trying to locate parts for several of the interior lights in my 65 Overlander. They are cone shaped sconces, brushed aluminum. Not sure if they were used in other models. The fixtures are complete, however the rotating joint is broken or not there, so fixtures just hang limp by the wires.
I've tried most of the conventional suppliers but can't seem to locate. Anyone out there have a line on something like this or know someone parting out a basket case. Maybe I could take them in to a lighting shop, but they probably would not have a clue.

We found these arms at our local lighting store here in Vancouver BC. Our lights were all broken and hanging down in our 67 Caravel. We rebuilt them using these arms. They swival and go up and down. They don't look totally original but they work well.

We bought the arms at a small independant lighting store in North Vancouver called Action Lighting. I don't know if they still have them but I have seen them at other stores. A quick search on the internet we found this link to some at Grand Brass . Make sure that you get the one with the friction knob so that you can lock it in place. They are called: Chrome Plated Steel Swivel with Friction Knob.We did this repair 5 or 6 years ago and it has been very successful. We also changed the broken rotary switches with new ones. I figured out a new way to fix the "ball and socket" of my 65 Overlander interior lights (the spun brushed aluminum cone shaped fixtures). After all the good comments, and thinking about it for awhile, I found a new way to "crimp" the fixture to hold the ball securely in its socket.
After disassembly, I got a 4" "c" clamp and placed the ball in socket and then tighted up the clamp whcih draws the ball into the socket. I then took a small hammer and placed the clampholding the fixture part on an anvil (or other metal surface) and carefully hammered around the lip of the socket and slowly formed the metal around the ball. After it was completed and I rotated it so I reached all sides I removed it from the clamp and viola! Now secured and rotating like it was new I touched up the small hammer markrs with some alunimum paint. After drying I reassembled the fixture and it works like new!
