Our handle light went out soon after picking ours up. Went to the factory and they changed the LED out to a white one. Then it went out about 2 months. We don’t miss it much. But come on.
We also have a leak from the bottom gasket. Even after service. The issue is the belt line terminates just above the bottom gasket and the gasket is the same top and bottom. But the bottom gasket does not have the weep notch in it at the bottom. Water from rain or condensation runs down the side to the belt line then into the bottom of the handle. DUH.....
As for the outlet we have not had an issue. Although we changed it to a stainless cover to match the rest of the covers on the outside. Don’t know why if the classic comes standard with SS covers, why not the outlet....
The handle light is 2 volt as the outlet is 120 volt. So no commonality there.
Just remove the 120 outlet and test it.
The
12 volt handle light only has short wires inside so splicing a new LED is a pain.
