2006 Safari Interior light switch

The interior ceiling light that is closest to the door isn't working. The center switch that you push to turn it on doesnt seem to have any resistance and clicking noise like the other two ceiling lights. Has anyone encountered this and is it a fixable thing or should i be looking to replace the whole fixture. I checked the fuses. Everything else in the AS with the exception of the bathroom vent fan is working fine.

The 2006 Safari Base 23'C trailers have had problems with the plastic ceiling light fixtures and we have replaced quite a few in the years due to the switch braking or the lenses falling out. The Safari SE that is listed on your account had a light switch by the door with recessed halogen fixtures. Please confirm your correct model.

I'll have to check. It could be base model instead of SE. It's got l sofa and fold away table with round sink with heated tanks. It does have light switch by the door next to the step and porch light switch but the only lights that might be halogen are the two reading lights above the sofa. The ceiling fixture is plastic double lenses with switch in middle and 12v auto bulb type bulbs.

Paper work is with the AS at the storage place, so I will check when I run up there next. But thanks for the reponse.

In 2006 the Safari had the soft touch vinyl ceiling, plastic style incandescent bulb type lights and Hehr windows. The Safari SE had the exposed finished aluminum interior skin, recessed halogen light ceiling fixtures, front panoramic windows and Airstream International/Classic style windows.

Because my model fits the former right down to the Hehr Windows. So where do I find replacement fixtures that will match the other two that are still working? Or should i just bite the bullet and replace all four overhead fixtures with like fixtures knowing that there is a good chance they will self destruct at some point? As it is my galley fixture has a hole melted in the lense.

Guess I was confused by ad posted by original owner that said it was 23 ft, yet i don't see a 23 ft Safari in the 2006 models in the dropdown menu on profiles here. Guess I will have to get out the tape measure as well.
