Exclamation 1979 Excella 500 TAIL LIGHT RIPPED OFF

Hello community!
I am new to the Airstream world and I am in desperate need of some advice:

My tail light was ripped off the body, now hanging on by a wire or two. It looks like it may have been soldered on in the middle, but for the most part it is fully in tact.

Does anyone have any ideas about how I might go about fixing this? I need to get the title transferred and in order to do so, the DMV must inspect it. I'm not sure they will deny the transfer but it needs to get fixed ASAP.

Please HELP!!

Double sided tape? A very thin bead of black caulk? Just guessing here.

An actual repair, or simply held in place for inspection?

I believe originally they were fixed in place by screws/rivets through the outer skin, and attached before the inner skins were put in, to allow access to the backside of the outer skin.

If you don't get the light cluster to seal around the outer skin, it will leak.
