I use the AirHead house style toilet and it is very comfortable. The best part is plumbing into the black tank, therefore no more emptying urine. If you only travel a few weeks and weekends a year the compost is complete and does not need emptying and recharging with Drain Care. I have had porcelain toilets in the past and they are quite heavy.

Hi, Thetford Aqua-Magic II. My toilet is mounted on a raised floor so I bought the short one.

A Thetford porcelain 34429 White Aqua Magic is 45 pounds shipping weight. The same thing in plastic is ten pounds, so we're talking 35 pounds extra. That's about a case of wine.

Domestic Macerator Toilet
My 2018 Classic 33 came with this guy. It grinds and swallows the most stubborn turds converting them to a creamy rich sludge making for easy black tank flushing.

This is an awesome crapper and after living more than 2 years full time and n my rig, it’s been great. I will replace old hungry-hippo with another same model if the turd-grinder ever fails.
Highly recommended!!

Me to, I also have made love to the porcelain goddess a few times even in old age, now a litle smarter I hope.

We use a compostable toilet ( Natures Head ) I was skeptical at first but after taking a 3 week trip and never having to empty it I can't say enough positive things. No odors PERIOD! No black tank dumping issues...It's the best!

All things equal, who wouldn't want porcelain versus plastic? That said, my throne works fine and I don't want to add any 'unnecessary' weight.

I like to keep my 1979 as original as possible. Late last camping season the flush valve seal on my original Thetford Aquamagic Galaxy Starlite developed a slow leak so the bowl no longer holds water. We toughed it out until the end of the season.
Oh, I tried cleaning out the groove, and all the usual tricks. Been through that in the past with good results.
Shortly before I de-winterize I plan to get the rebuild kit, pull the toilet, and replace all seals so it is good to go for a few more decades.

We installed a Natures Head...it's wonderful! No stink at all, and I don't have to deal with the black tank issue

I also installed the Natures Head, but had the urine diverted directly into the back tank, which is now joined with the gray tank. So now I have 55 gallons fresh water and 65 gallons gray. Great for boondocking.

Sprayer or no sprayer....that is the question.
Looking like I may go with the Theftford AM II. Comes with or without sprayer.

Toilets that will change your life
One of these days, I may get one of these. But I don't think they're RV ready yet.

From what I have heard, these things make conventional western toilets seem like odious outhouses.

Be aware that RainX Safety Data Sheet states that it’s flammable.

Toto is a typically Japanese and very highly engineered product. They are rather proud of their products, to put it mildly.
They are quite nice, but take a lot of water and power to deliver all that luxury, and are somewhat bulky.
Yeah, I wouldn’t mind having one at home...a bidet is quite the luxury item.
The house DW designed and we built in Alabama had a separate bidet in the master bath. I regularly had to explain what it was by referencing the canonical bidet discovery scene in ‘Crocodile Dundee’. “It’s for washing your bum...”
