Weird kitchen faucet behaviour - winterizing

I was winterizing our 25', 2017 FC today. During the process of blowing water out using a compressor, I pressed the spray wand to get water out. That worked fine (and previously, I had gotten some water out of the spigot). When I released the spray wand, instead of air coming out of the faucet, I just heard a couple of clicks, but no air, almost as if the sink were turned off. I finished the process and took the handle and top of the cartridge off, put it all back together, and it seemed to work again as air was blowing out.


Is something wrong with the cartridge, the diverter switch or something else?


I should mention that the faucet has never provided as much flow as think it should, so I wonder if this is just another symptom?

Calcium builds up in the water heater, tank and lines and deposits can collect at the faucet screens slowing water flow. Perhaps that could be your problem.
