Toilet Replacement

Hello All, As I go through the refit of The Painted Lady (28' Argosy), I am wanting to upgrade the toilet with a porclain model . A recomendation on a good quality Brand/ Model would be most appreciated.

Thanks,

God Bless and Safe Traveling

Yes - Sealand traveler lite is about the only toilet that will fit in the space. It's a good porcelain model and you can order it from a number of places. I would try PPL. It comes in 2 colors and 2 heights - you probably want the lower one.

Use the search tool on the forums and do a search to sealand toilet. you'll find a number of folks who replaced with this model.

The Traveler is a great unit. If you want something a little more 'fancy', Thetford makes tha Aria, which is an electrically operated automatic flush toilet. Very upscale for your coach .

Will it fit in an argosy? I found that there is limited space behind the pot. i wasn't able to find a thetford model that was shallow enough (front to back).

Thanks for the advice

I will look into both recommendations. Dimensions will be a factor. Electric Mmmmm, Never imagined that being an option.

Lightbulb you might need????

If you go with the electric model, would you need a generator for when you're not "plugged in" ?
Best,

try this link - they have specs available online. http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/parts/r...nitation-1.htm

we really like our sealand.... it does what it's supposed to do when it's supposed to do it. The install was straight forward and the quality is good. They have a model with a hand sprayer...

Best,
No. It's a 12VDC motor that works the blade valve and water solenoid. You cana use it anywhere you have battery power.

Toilet Replacement Options?

I am also looking for a replacement toilet but not sure I have the same bathroom configuration as those discussed above. I have a 78 25ft Tradewind with toilet on top of tank between closet and sink (rearbath). Dimensionally, it appears a number of new toilets will fit but Im concerned that some say only the Traveler lite will fit. I dont necessarily want a porcelin bowl and would prefer the larger base of some of the other brands/models. Does anyone have recommendations?
