Toilet choice help

I am planning to replace my toilet when I do my floor replacement. We have an original in our 78/31' . I want to use a porcelain bowl with a tall height. Any recommendations. Do any use the same mounting hardware? Are the flange arrangements universal? I am a plumber by trade but don't have any knowledge about RV toilets. Thanks Phil

In spite of my "water feature in the bath" incident at the Florida Can Opener (BTW, thanks again for taking a look at it), I still love my Sealand Traveler Lite. Turns out it really was a winterizing issue on my part, something you don't have to deal with in your neck of the woods. Even I with no plumbing knowledge easily replaced the leaky water valve myself. The standard height is 17 inches. Mine is a low profile at I think 13". They have several models depending on the weight and features you want, you can see for yourself here. If your flange differs from the Sealand, a universal mounting kit can be purchased. See the Universal Mounting Kit thread.

I just put in a Sealand low profile this week. Easy to install, bought the universal adaptor.
Just a note. Me being the typical, mechanically inclined male, I decided that it was so simple that I didn't need directions. I started to try removing the existing flange before I stopped and read the directions. DON'T remove it. The adaptor goes right over the top of it and screws down. I was able to recover from my mistake.....

The toilet works nice, with a ball valve instead of the old blade type. Very smooth with a positive seal. I like it.

dave, i was just looking around for toilet choices and read your post and got my good laugh for the day.

i'm going to go with the sealand traveler lite, it seems like a lot of people are happy with it.
