Toilet bolts

I am amidst flooring repair, and am desparately trying to remove the toilet bolts. It seems the studs are spinning with the nut firmly seized, even though i soaked them with a rust penetrant. I can't spin either nut off the studs, nor the studs out of the floor. Any ideas?
A search only reveald hard to get to bolts ( agree) and leaking ball valves etc.

The real question is are you going to try to reuse the toilet?

If not then a sawzall will make short work of the old bolts. If you are trying to save the toilet then you need to use a nut splitter, but I have no idea how you would fit it in the space available

How about a dremel or a drill with a thin cut off wheel?? Again space may be a limiting factor.

Sorry, Uwe. This won't help you, but others reading this thread might be interested to know that the PO of my Argosy (or Airstream factory?) had installed screws up against the toilet bolt heads to keep them from turning when the nuts were removed.

Another thing the PO did was not so nice. He apparently had a leak around the toilet flange. To fix this he glued the flange to the black tank. I broke my black tank trying to remove the flange.

I'd be rather upset except my black tank had serious cracks causing it to leak anyway. That's why I was removing it.

Now, if someone out there knows how to fix the cracks in a leaky plastic black tank... I'm not listening... hmmm....hmmmm...hmmmm

I must be the luckiest guy alive. I rotated the tilet about 75degrees to the right, and it basically fell off the flange. This time rust was my friend.
Next issue: the flange that protrudes into the black tank. How this come off?
Now that I got lucky removing the toilet, i am afraid the flange will break, etc.etc.
The metal flange with the 6 screws basically deteriorated into powder. It looks like this once was underneath the black flange. I will be needing a new toilet and some hardware, at least.
Any help appreciated. Thanks for the replies so far.
