If you ever have your toilet seal leak
Look to the paper you are disposing of. The secret is DO NOT PUT THE PAPER IN THE TOILET.Even the toated special paper.
I spent many distastful hours on my back removing the toilet and the body pan to get at the valves and cleaning small bits of paper from the beastie.

The secret is simple-------put paper in the garbage. If you like buy small plastic or paper bags for same. I have never had any troubles in this manner in the last 20 years.

Do not let the valves dry out . Keep a solution of mineral oil in toilet when not in use and some in the holding tank to lube the dump valve.

I use the cheapest "Hetcho en Mexico" generic paper in the store, it all goes into the tank, and I have never had a problem in as many years as you. I do flush excess water into the tank before dumping so as to get a good strong flow.

I seldom even use any sort of deodorant treatment and odor problems are a rarity. I do occasionally use a treatment that has an oil base to lubricate the valves.

well, you could also just use a chamber-pot, and be done with it. That would free up the toilet for use as a nice planter, instead of its intended purpose.

Ya know, now, that I think of it, most dogs I know really enjoy using the bowl as their drinking recepticle. and I'd be willing to bet that the larger, more intelligent breeds could be taught to step on the pedal to re-fill the bowl whenever they need to. sounds like a "win-win" solution, to me.

Does this apply to corn cobs too? Mine seem to flush ok.
