the shower in our 2000 25' Safari quit working. It leaks where the hose hooks into the wall fixture. There is a little, black, diaphragm and a hard white plastic washer between the hose and the fitting that screws into the chrome fixture. The diaphragm is broken. Two Airstream parts/service guys could not tell me whats wrong or how to fix it. Anybody know what's wrong? Thank you for any help, Jim
Hi, sounds like you need a "Vacuum Breaker Valve" and you should be able to find one at a plumbing or hardware store.
Or, since it is an RV part, used mostly in RV's a good RV parts place may have one. I don't think it is commonly used in home showers, but could be I guess.
