Shower Pan support

Hello all,
My trailer did not come with a shower but I recently recieved a new shower pan for my 59. It is 24" X 27". The support underneath is an angled pad of styrofoam, no wood. Is this usual? Will it hold up over time or should I figure out someway to remove some of the pad and add some wood strip supports.
My other thought is to leave it original and rely on it and the side supports.
Thanks

I'm thinking it should be fine. If you stand on the pan and it doesn't compress, I see no reason why it would in the future. BTW, where did you purchase your shower pan? I need one about that size.

I got my shower/tub pan from Rvvanandsurplus. Good price but shipping was expensive.
