Shower full of water

We have already dropped the Airstream off at the dealer to be investigated/fixed but just curious if anyone had idea what could cause the problem.
- We went to bed with grey tanks showing 60% full.
- All faucets turned off and water pump off.
- Connected to city water
Woke up about 2 am and discovered that the shower had filled with water and was beginning to overflow. Any idea what could have happened?

I have’s seen this before. It was a bathroom sink fixture slowly leaking at the base. Drips along the sink and down the drain. It was a simple fix but frustrating. Not a major system problem of things being plumbed backwards.

Another possibility is if you left the shower on and just turned off at the shower head. This could allow a slow drip into shower.

The dealer couldn't find any problems. We are still a little nervous about it so we bought a Govee Water Detector from Amazon. We are going to leave it in the shower when not is use.
