Shower drain Replacement

My 2009 25’FB Classic shower drain has corroded and needs replacing. How does one get to the nut under the shower pan to loosen the nut??

On mine there is an access plate in the belly pan that allows you to get to the p-trap and shower drain.

does the shower drain just unscrew from the drain pipe under the shower?? I have looked under the trailer and the pan covers the area under the shower. Has anyone removed this shower drain pipe??

I have a 2008 Classic 25fb. If you remove the furnace duct and have small hands you can access the shower drain. Other wise you will need to remove the wall. I was able to get my hand in there with a small adjustable wrench to loosen mine to fix a leak.

My 2018 FB has an access opening for the shower. Don’t know if this helps but it shows what you’re after. Don’t know why AS didn’t make it a little wider. Replaced the drain as it is a used unit and the previous owner never cleaned it. YUK!
