Shower Drain

While repairing the floor in the bath area of our 1971 Safari, I had to remove the shower pan strainer. I had to cut it into to get it out. Then started looking for a replacement. After checking several RV catalogs and plumbing supply houses without any sucess, I went to Lowes and believe it or not, found a brand new one just like the original. Solid brass and chrome plated. It cost about $11.00. It is called a Bar Strainer and is distributed by LG Sourcing, Inc. N. Wilkesboro, NC. I thought I would share this info with the Forum in case someone else has the same need. I continue to be impressed with the quality of parts that were used in the original Airstreams.
