Shake Down Inspection

As we prepare and clean out our 78 AS 31' for its maiden voyage to Mount Rushmore, I am finally getting to the plumbing and water supply. I hooked the trailer up to our garden hose and pressurized the system. Voila, everything seems to be working. Flushed out all of the antifreeze and let it run for a while.

I then began to shut the faucets, only to find out the shower does not want to shut off! Is this just a matter of new gaskets? Are the gaskets available at a local home improvement store? Or do I need to change out the faucet?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Okay, here is what I found our about our faucet situation. Home Depot does have replacement cartridges for the Moens that came with the AS.

The Moen cartridge # is 1200
The Danco replacement cartridge is : 80993TS

Easy replacement process and we are back in action again.
