Replace outside shower hose

Has anyone replaced the hose for the outside shower? We use that a lot but putting the hose and shower head back in is a pain.

There was a thread about this a while ago.
Seems folks used stock parts from the big box stores.
The problem is hose storage.
Someone makes a very nice stainless unit for $290. Steep for me.

I like the concept in the "Living Vehicle" videos:

Shower hose

I agree trying to put that hose back in was a pain. I finally broke it and installed a stainless hose. It’s great.

Yes I agree the problem is hose storage. That's what I was asking about, if anyone had replaced their hose to make storage easier.

I replaced the cheap plastic shower hose as well. I used a nice much more flexible stainless steel version from Lowe’s. Very easy to install and the improved flexibility makes it much easier to store away. Here’s what I got...

I also wanted to have a pin mount shower head holder, like the one in the inside shower, but on a suction cup to mount higher on the outside when using the shower. Here’s the pin mount.

Delta Faucet U5001-PK Clear Pin Wall Mount for Handshower, Chrome https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0064TY7MI..._b.QKBbJRQMG0K

I looked into maybe mounting one of these to a suction cup, but it was going to be clunky, so I just got a regular suction cup shower head holder and it works just fine. There are dozens of varieties on Amazon.
Don’t know why Airstream went with the pin mount at all (seems to be a Delta brand thing) rather than the more universal versions.
Easy to install and remove as needed and you wind up with an outside shower that’s like the Living Vehicle one in the video above. I store it right in the shower compartment.
