Ready to "upgrade" our toilet, any advice?

Hello all,

One of the first real improvements we're going to tackle is the removal of Thetford's Aqua Magic plastic throne. We decided to stick with Thetford and upgrade to the Aria Classic.
But, as handy as I am in a stick built house (built my home myself!) We've only owned the Airstream (our FIRST & only trailer) since last fall. Needless to say I'll learn as I go, but am always open to help & advice from those who care to offer it.
Camping World has the Aria on sale and apparently a sale on shipping costs also! So short of ordering up the toilet, are there any ancillaries I should order along with it? (I'm guessing RV toilets dont use a wax ring, but maybe a new seal??) Misc. parts, any odds & ends I might need?
Anyone out there made a similiar conversion? If the darn store wasn't 2.5 hours away, I'd just go down & tear into the box to see whats included ( just like at Lowes)
Thanks for any help, as always. Todd.

I put a china RV bowl in the '78 when I redid it - one of the better improvements was that I took out the small entrance wall to the rear of the bath. This allowed me to cock the toilet about 20 degrees counter clockwise - this allowed for much more room in the bathroom. Pictures and a description of how to do it in the '78 Sovereign thread in my segnature line.

We upgraded from the cheapo plastic Aqua Magic to a Thetford china toilet a few years ago.
All of the Thetfords fit on the same flange.
Some are bigger than others. The dimensions of all the Thetfords are on the web site. Measure carefully.
Rather than wax rings Thetfords use sponge rubber donuts that come with the new toilets. We raised the floor of our Airstream by installing composite flooring and now need two donuts to seal out the bad odors. The donuts crush over time. Everytime I replace the water valve, I replace the donuts.
The new toilet didn't match the plumbing connections of the old one. The lines are half inch, we installed the new toilet with a flexible half inch line from Home Depot.
