Outdoor Shower Replacement Tip
I recently replaced the factory outdoor shower fixture with the Dura model many owners have recommended (model: DF-SA186-WT). As many have posted, it was pretty easy, except in my case there was one small complication.
The Dura faucet has water supply lines that are longer than the factory faucet by about 3/8 of an inch. On my particular trailer, a 23 foot Globetrotter, there is no inside access because there is a cabinet behind the outdoor shower. And the additional length of the water supply lines on the Dura faucet prevent the shower assembly from going back in once you have the new Dura faucet installed.
I had to remove the faucet, trim the water supply lines by 3/8" with a hacksaw and reinstall. No more problem.
