No Water Flow from Faucet.

My bath area faucet has no water flow not even a trickle! Neither the water pump or the outside water connection fix the problem. The first thing that comes to mind is a plug of some sort. I did check the screen and it was clean at the tip. Any suggestions to unplug?

Is this a problem on both hot and cold side?
If so I would remove the screen and try it without the screen.
There is a chance the cartridge in the faucet is plugged. Remove the cartridge and inspect it.
If it is problem on only one side then you may have to check the branch line piping leading to that side.

My bet is on the screen.

Go a little further upstream - behind the screen is a little plastic dohickey (water saver, actually) that has very small holes which are easily clogged by sediments that settle there. Remove it, noting carefully which way it goes back together, and it is a good bet that this is your problem.

Going with the flow,

Pat

Does not work on either the hot or cold side. I did clean the screen and inspected the dohicky (green plastic with small holes). Where would I find the cartridge? I really appreciate the help!!!!!! Thanks

Try one more easy thing: Leave the dohickey out and try the water. Then the cartridge is the next step. Your big box Lowe's or HD will have the cartridge (or the dohickey, for that matter).

The cartridge is the faucet valve, located under the handle. On the top of the handle is a small cover that will pry off with a pocket knife or small screwdriver. Under the cover you'll find a Phillips screw. Remove the screw, and pull the handle straight off. Now you'll have the cartridge stem exposed. It's held into the faucet with a nut on top of the chrome base. Remove the nut, and then the cartridge will pull out. Replacement is just as easy. Just make sure you note how the old cartridge came out so you can put the new one in with the exact same orientation.

Obviously, make sure the water is off before starting! For that matter, does your trailer have shut-off valves for the hot and cold water under the sink? Some do. May want to check those as well.

Fixed!! It was the little green dohicky! To my eyes the tiny holes looked okay but I spent $2.99 to replace and now the flow is perfect! Thanks for all the help!
