Moen model M7500 faucet trouble

After installing a new counter top in my 68 globetrotter, I put my Moen faucet back together. It was working fine before I took it apart. After putting it back together, the faucet started linking very bad. The water is comming from the base of the faucet. I think it might be the rubber rings, but they look fine. Have anybody had this problem? Any ideas? The faucet is a Moen model 7500 the original faucet in my 68. Thanks for the help.

Check and make sure you replaced all of the O-rings. They dry up and shrink or wear out. If the faucet is original to the 75 it's time for a new one.

Moen has a great tech service free phone number and they will ship you all the replacement parts you need for free within a week. You do need to put their free special silicon grease on all the seals before you reassemble the faucet.
