Overall the toilet works okay but am wondering if the drain line may be partially obstructed?

Thanks for any knowledge before I take this to the next step of disassembling the toilet.
We have used Happy Camper powder dissolved in hot water and flushed with lots of water.
I've noted the same "bubbling" recently and solved it with a few fills of boiling water from a tea kettle.

I *think* the issue is not Happy Camper, rather the fairly small discharge tube are clogging with biomass.
I'll report back if the problem returns.

FWIIW I treat the shower drain in a similar fashion....when the shower begins to drain slowly I pour a few kettles of boiling water into the drain and Bob's your Uncle

I took your advice and flushed with some very hot water and it appears to work like new! Thanks for the tip!
