I have a Moen PureTouch Classic kitchen faucet in a 2004 Safari. It has developed a leak at the point indicated by the arrow. I’m trying to fix it and have dismantled the faucet pretty much from the top. I’m hoping that someone could give me some pointers before I proceed further. If you can, thanks!
Hi Josh. I ended up replacing the entire faucet. The Moen was clunky and the handle kept falling off (due to faulty installation I later discovered). The only problem with the process was that since 2004 they changed the hose size from 3/8 inch to 1/2 inch, so I had to use an adapter. The hose I got was too long, but I just looped it around once and it doesn’t affect the water flow. By replacing we lost use of the spray nozzle, but we rarely used it anyway. The replacement faucet is pretty cheap plastic; I’ll get around to replacing it with a more sturdy metal one eventually. The attached pictures should tell the whole tale. I hope this helps!
