Leaking Faucet / / going down to radiator

hey guys-

am out in big bend national park and of course my faucet started leaking and not only that, its going down underneath my 28' FB sink, straight onto the radiator. problem city.

first of all, not sure why AS would put the radiator with open electrical circuitry directly below the sink. stupid.

secondly, my plumbing skills are limited, the faucet only links when I am running the water which indicates that its where it connects to the faucet up under the fixture, not on the connection part.

I should, in theory be able to pull it apart. fix it. but I am concerned real damage was done to radiator, because it started making electrical pulsing noises, almost like repeating whirring clicking noises .

its 100% the radiator from the water, 100% sure about that.

just need to fix my sink and determine if the radiator needs warranty coverage.

Tough to say without pics but check every hose, usually hand tightening is enough and they may have a gripping nut that lets you tighten by hand.

Check the drain where it meets the sink. Mine was missing some plumber’s putty and leaking from there. Check the pipes from the drain - there’s 2 or 3 places to hand tighten the connections assuming they’re sitting together flush.

Do include pics of where it’s leaking from and maybe others will have better info.

Not sure about what’s exposed with your radiator but until you fix the leak, cover the exposed electrical part with a plastic trash bag or something. If the unit is fried I’d call the factory and see if it’s covered under warranty with a leak in the sink.

Frustrating - but it will work out. Good luck!
