I Want a Round ?Aluminum? Sink

In the newer A/S I have seen pictures of the round sinks, metal of some sort. Where can I get one? I want to install one in the Overlander, but haven't found them in any parts lists.

Anyone?....Anyone?....

THanks
Ron

Round Stainless sinks are $ 40.00 at Home Depot. They have 2 sizes. Look for the wet bar sink.
Also, try www.rvpartsoutlet.com
They have them as well for a good price.
If you want a bigger one for the kitchen area, with a large size drain, then a better appliance/plumbing supply will surely be able to get one for you.

They're stainless steel. You can probably find the part number in the on-line parts manuals (PDF files) at the Airstream site. Look for the manual that has the International CCD.

Ok, here is a link:

https://www.rvpartsoutlet.com/newsto...0A6678CC71BD60

Better use the navigation on their page, not the browser bar. It will throw you out otherwise.
Good Luck

...or you could use a stainless steel salad mixing bowl. I plan on putting one in my bathroom whenever i build a cabinet for it. They come in a bunch of different sizes.

try

http://www.scandvik.com/

Its a marine supply

They are a great place for sinks and faucets and all sorts of stuff that you cant find. Its seems that all the nice metal stuff is for houses and if you go to an RV place you can find the smaller stuff you want , but its usually plastic.... Scanvik has a lot of nice options in smaller sizes. good lighting sleection too

I just went through the owners manual and documents for our 28' International CCD. It has the round sink in the kitchen. The manufacturer is Kindred. Their web site is www.kindred-sinkware.com

The exact model is not specified for our sink but I'll try to get it when I go to the storage facility.

Good luck,

Dennis

I was interested in these cool sinks as well, so I took a picture of an unopened box while visiting the factory. Hopefully this helps in your quest.

I just replaced my beautiful avacado double sink with
a stainless steel single sink. Besides aestetics ( sp ?)
I can now fit pots and pans in the sink for washing.
If I ever need an extra sink for soapy water, I'll just use
a tupperware tub.( which I can use for a couple of other
chores as well ) Mandolin Dave

To take DPeak's post a step further.....

http://search.yahoo.com/search?fr=fp...ss+steel+sinks

That was a great pic and had all the info needed to do a search. Afterward I also noticed that even the part number is on the box. Should be an easy thing to get.........

Great pic DPeakMD!

Ok, I had to look. The 18/80L can be found here, but the pic looks a bit different than the one in my coach. It sells for about $193.00:

http://www1.shopping.com/xKW-bar_sin...040480/GS.html

Scroll about 1/2 way down the page and you'll see the 18/80L.

Silvertwinkie, that's great! I'll read on, ( you know, just looked at the picture LOL)

I stopped at Lowes to check out their selection too. Whatever works, ya know.

No, sorry, whatever's cheapest.

Home Depot buys a whole lot of a few popular items , not
really thinking about RVers. If you ask for a cataloge
you can order any size, depth, shape and thickness you want.
and you can pick how many holes you want in it. But you won't get a great price. Mine was a little more than a hundred.

aluminum sinks

there is an internet group who turns recycled aluminum and steel into the most beautiful sinks the round ones that sit above the counter!!! Very Haute couterier. They also make a great number of decorative tileas and most important for me edging in nice patterns to keep those floating cork floors from showing. OF COURSE I dont know the internet address- another day with mind fog. Why do I bother tempting you people with out the link? sorry- look for recycled aluminum or recycled steel Sorry Silver suz

FF How did you bore a hole for the drain? We too have been contemplating this idea--haha my husband thought I was crazy!! But, as you know, when looking for a replacement, options are limited and you have to be creative!!

We put one of the round SS sinks in our last MH. I didn't like it because it tended to rust in tiny spots because of the humidity when the MH was stored.

We put a Blanco Silgranite round sink in this MH. It matches the color in our decor, and can't rust. We love it.

We found the best price online for the sink at http://www.homeclick.com/

They seem to currently offer the sink in a wide variety of colors as you can see here.
