DIY composting toilet under bench in vintage airstream

Hi All,

Has anyone put a DIY built composting toilet under the fiberglass bathroom bench in a vintage Airstream. I want to keep the bench so I suppose access to empty and do cleaning would have to be through outside back hatch, unless some sort of hinge to lift the top is possible.

Has anyone successfully accomplished this? I am looking for ideas.

I contacted webspinner. Unfortunately they removed the bench in their rear bath before installing a natures head composting toilet.

I will stick to my initial idea to build a diy composting toilet under the bathroom bench with emptying/ cleaning access through the back hatch.
