Composting Toilet in a 26RBT
I've read a number of posts regarding composting toilet installations, but I believe our specific model might provide some unique challenges.
We won't even consider a composting toilet without having urine diverted to the grey or black tank. The 26U has a unique toilet with Macerator and the plumbing looks to provide some challenges. I'm not sure how you'd get to the black tank without the help of the macerator? Or, could you divert to the grey tank and merge the 2 tanks?
I'm also curious how the venting might work in our unit as the toilet is on the passenger side of the trailer. Probably don't want it vented out under our awning? Maybe it would be diverted up?
Anyway, no way I would take on this project on my own at this point. I've heard JC will do these types of installations? Is that true?
If there is anyone out there who has tried this I'd be very interested in hearing how it worked. Thanks,
