Compost Toilet

I would like to install a compost toilet in my airstream as I will be without septic out on some acerage. There are two choices. A central compost system that would be hooked to the septic hose outside. The other option is a self contained unit that would require removing the old toilet and doing some jury rigging. Anyonw ever used one of these systems. Eric

I've known a couple of people who have had them in stick houses.

They are heavy, use up a lot of space, require a fair amount of maintenance, and don't work well unless they have an electric heater and an electric fan.
