Changing inline water filter

Is it best to remove the sink to change the inline water filter in a 2017 International Serenity?

Our inline water filter is easily changed under the sink. The pex tubing is not fastened to the cabinet, but rather on j-brackets, allowing the whole assembly to be moved a bit. The end fittings on the pex are hand tightened, but both hands are needed - one to hold the filter and the other to loosen the fitting. Our trailer came with a straight length of pex with threaded end fittings to use to replace the filter when winterizing the trailer.
