Hello folks I’m contemplating if I need to replace a leaking Bravura toilet with new seals which I can get on Amazon for 34.78 or just use the whole kit which is on Amazon also for 63.11. Cost almost twice as much. Have any of you tried the seal kit before? I cannot tell weather my whole mechanism needs to be replaced . It does not appear to be bad. Seals are leaking. This toilet has some sorry engineering. First time into it and if I repair it next time I buy one I will look for something of a better design.

I replace the seals only on my Thetford toilet two times, but not the Bravura model. I did not replace the flapper/slide. The parts look very similar to yours. The first time took me a few hours, a learning curve. The second time went a lot quicker. In addition to the kit, I had to purchase the doughnut seal for the base of the toilet separately.
I got the parts from Out of Doors Mart.

Just did mine in our 2002 Classic. 2nd time. The amazon kit comes with the gasket for the base of the toilet. did not know so ordered also so have extra. While having it apart replaced the hoses as they get mold inside. Took about 2 hours total.

No issues with just replacing the seals then? Good to know. I was concerned about pitting and abrasion causing issues.

Thank you for posting this video. I got parts everywhere. It will be a good help. I fellow can’t get enough pictures. Parts coming in Dec.7th. I bought the seals as you fellows did. By the way did you put any lube anywhere else on moving parts? Or just gasket?
