Articulating Shower Rod Install
We are trying to install a new curtain rod in our 1978 Argosy, and it poses a couple of challenges. First of all, the rod is quite heavy, and we have doubts about the ability of the plastic wall to support it. Any thoughts about how we can attach and support it without risking messing up the plastic wall? (and without looking crappy).
Secondly, I know I saw the articulating rod here on the Forum, and liked the idea and ordered one. Now we see that the rod is too wide to articulate without modification. Has anyone tackled this project or did I dream it up? I can't find a reference to it here. Note that on the 1978 Argosy shower wall, (you maybe can tell from the picture), the mirror, wall, window and roller shade intersect and narrow the options for mounting the rod. We want to mount it to the extreme right of the old rod.
Thanks...
