Argosy shower

The shower in my newly purchased 1976 24' Argosy is all goobered up. Does anyone have pictures of what it is supposed to look like? I'd appreciate it. Or any comments on what others have done to improve their shower in a similar trailer would be appreciated, too.

Thanks

A site all new owners should know about. At the bottom of the page "vintage photo archives" and "restoration resources" are especially helpful:

Here's some photos of the bath in my '74 Argosy 26'. The 2 photos in the center are of what I did to upgrade it.

Thanks Ganglin. I've looked at those pictures before but it slipped my mind to refer back to them now. And lo and behold, the Argosy I just purchased was there, probably from before my PO's bought it. Now I know what good and bad thinfs my PO's did and didn't do to it.

There were lots of shower pictures and refrigerator pictures which is what I need. Thanks again!!

Thanks TG, that's what I need - shower pictures. It all looks great!! What did you do to the shower? What did you use for the little stips that go around the shower?

Sorry to be a pest, but do you have any higher up pictures of the shower?

Sally

TRim

As you can see from the photos, I installed vinyl flooring in the bath. The strips around the shower are made from the left over flooring material. I very carefully measured and cut strips from that material. I could not slide it into the aluminum trim rail, so I just pinched it from side to side, forming a "U" shape, slipping it into the rail and working along. It looks good. The strips were cut 1 1/16" wide. There is material out there for this kind of application, but everthing I have found is 1" or narrower and that won't work. Sorry, I don't have any photos of the upper part of the shower, I posted some earlier this year to show the shower rod, but I'm unable to locate them at this time. If you look thru my old post, you may find them.

Thanks TG. Your Argosy is beautiful. Clever idea with the trim rail. Mine are so smeared with caulking. Not sure what I'm going to do yet. But yours is an inspiration.
